ABOUT ADRIANO AND SAMANTHA
Adriano Ieropoli and Samantha Scali are professional salsa dancers based in Montreal, Canada.
They began their partnership in 2009. Together, they hold 14 combined international titles, with Adriano being a six-time Men’s World Salsa Champion and the couple earning six world Professional Salsa On2 championships. In 2015, they founded Novaera Productions, their own dance studio in Montreal.
Adriano and Samantha made history as the first Canadian couple to win a Professional Salsa On2 world title at the World Salsa Summit 2017. They have successfully defended their title in 2018, 2019, 2024 (twice!), and 2025, making them six-time world champions in this division.
Their achievements have gained them international recognition, allowing them to travel globally as headliners in major salsa congresses, where they teach, perform, and judge competitions.
Beyond competition, they regularly perform at prestigious events, including Just for Laughs Festival, Festival Week-end du Monde, and salsa conventions around the world. They collaborate with entertainment companies for corporate, wedding, and private events and have opened for artists such as Karl Wolf, Charlie K, Hector Acosta “El Torito,” and Tito “El Bambino.”
Their journey has also led them to television, where they placed 2nd overall on Révolution (2019), Quebec’s biggest televised dance competition. Following their success, they joined the nationwide tour with the cast of the show, and they were part of the All-Star cast in Révolution: Les Étoiles (2024). The couple also competed on America’s Got Talent.
